CodeMouse Is Now in ChatGPT: Ask About Your Code Reviews
CodeMouse reviews every pull request in your GitHub repositories with the AI models you choose, on your own API keys. Until now, checking how a review went meant opening the pull request or the dashboard. As of today you can ask ChatGPT instead: the CodeMouse plugin is approved and listed publicly in the ChatGPT plugin directory.
What you can ask
The plugin connects ChatGPT to your CodeMouse account and gives it four tools:
- List accounts: the GitHub organizations and personal accounts you belong to in CodeMouse, with your role.
- List repositories: which repositories are connected and being reviewed.
- List reviews: recent pull-request reviews with their verdict (approve, comment or request changes), repository, duration and cost.
- Get review: the full detail of one review: its verdict, how many comments it posted, each model's run and what it cost on your key, and the error if it failed.
So questions like these just work:
- "Did CodeMouse pass my last PR, and how many comments did it leave?"
- "Which reviews in the last week asked for changes?"
- "How much did my code reviews cost this week, and which model was the most expensive?"
- "Did the review on the payments repo pass?"
ChatGPT calls the tools, reads the answers, and replies in plain language. Because it gets the real data, it can also compare: two reviews, two models, this week against last. The findings themselves stay where you act on them, as inline comments on the pull request, and every review comes with its PR link.
Read-only, and only your accounts
Every tool is read-only. The plugin cannot approve, merge, comment on or change anything, in CodeMouse or on GitHub. Reviews keep happening the way they always have, on the pull request.
Access is limited to the accounts you're a member of. Sign-in uses OAuth with your GitHub identity, the same login as the CodeMouse dashboard, and you approve the connection once. A CodeMouse account is required; the 14-day trial works.
How to add it
- Open the CodeMouse listing in ChatGPT.
- Add the plugin, then sign in with GitHub and approve.
- Ask a question about your reviews.

Why we built it
Most of the time a code review is something you read once, on the pull request. The questions that come later are different: what did we fix this month, why did that review take so long, are we spending more on one model than it's worth. Those are questions about many reviews at once, and a chat assistant with the real data answers them faster than any dashboard filter. That's why CodeMouse has had an MCP server since June. Getting it into ChatGPT's directory just puts it one click away for more people.
If something about the plugin doesn't behave the way you'd expect, [email protected] reaches a human who can fix it.
FAQ
Does the ChatGPT plugin cost extra?
No. The plugin is included with CodeMouse. It only reads data CodeMouse already has, so it doesn't spend your AI provider keys.
Can ChatGPT change my pull requests through CodeMouse?
No. All four tools are read-only. The plugin can't approve, merge, comment or change settings.
Which accounts can ChatGPT see?
Only the CodeMouse accounts you're a member of, after you sign in and approve the connection. Nobody else's data is reachable.
Do I need a CodeMouse subscription?
You need a CodeMouse account. A trial account works, and so does an active subscription.
